"These warm feelings are the reasons I was drawn towards Rho Pi Phi in the first place..."
Tram Bui Brother Vanellope
The day we went to take pictures, everyone’s attitude reinforced the things I love about Rho Pi Phi.
Everyone is selfless, encouraging of each other and inclusive.
From personal experience, the photographer is always the one who takes pictures of everyone but is missing in the album. This was not the case for us. Everyone constantly invited our photographer, Thai, to jump in the picture while someone else takes it so we can have a picture to look back at and see all of us. It’s not just one or two pictures either, when we move to a new location, we would ask if he wants his own photos there. Quynh Anh and I even went as far as stealing his camera to ensure he’s included and have his own solo pictures.
Everyone was very considerate of each other as well. Those who are better at posing taught the rest of us how to pose for pictures. We’d find different ways to make a picture interesting and rather than claiming it, the person who discovers it offers to use it for another brother to get that pretty picture. For example, Quoc Anh accidentally walked into a branch and the flowers floated over him. This gave him the idea to have flying flowers in a picture, but not for himself. Instead, he offered to use the idea for me. These warm feelings are the reasons I was drawn towards Rho Pi Phi in the first place.
As we make more memories, I only feel happier about my choice and the privilege of being with brothers like these.
Brother Mandalorian, Brother Vanellope, Brother Iridessa, Brother Carnelian, Brother Admiral and Brother Aperture of the Neon class.
